Sibling Enrollment \/ New Student Enrollment<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

It is time for siblings and new students to apply for enrollment for the 2022\/23 school year. Siblings of current VCS students have priority over new students but must apply just the same. To be eligible for Kindergarten, children must be 5 by September 2, 2022. Open enrollment will run from 1\/24\/22 through 2\/4\/22. Applications can be found; attached to this bulletin, in the office or the website.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Updated Covid Guidelines<\/strong><\/em><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Here are the latest guidelines, with links, from the California Department of Public Health. Most of it is the same, but the isolation time has changed. Please see the following slides (because these are cut and pasted slides you cannot click activate the links).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Please Note: Because our students mask indoors and outdoors except when eating, the majority of our in-school exposures hare mask-on-mask. Therefore, most students who have been exposed at school and are asymptomatic qualify for modified quarantine (see last slide below).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I know this is a lot to take in\u2026please don\u2019t hesitate to call the office if you need clarification and guidance.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Understanding Your COVID-19 Test Results<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

NEGATIVE TEST?  <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 If you feel well and have no COVID-19 symptoms<\/u><\/strong>, RETURN TO SCHOOL! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 If you have SYMPTOMS or have been in contact with someone with COVID-19, please call your school before you return \u2013 even if the test is negative. More testing may be needed.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

POSITIVE TEST? <\/strong>Stay home from school and contact your doctor and your school right away. See attached slides for isolation\/quarantine protocol or check the  CDPH K-12 Guidelines<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

UNCLEAR TEST RESULTS? <\/strong>Retest with another home test or at a local testing site.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

ANY SYMPTOMS? KNOWN EXPOSURE? If you HAVE ANY <\/strong>COVID-19 symptoms <\/u><\/strong>and\/or you know you were exposed, CALL YOUR SCHOOL before you return.<\/em><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
