Thank you to all the parents that showed up to our first PA meeting!  It was a great turn out and we are excited for our growing community and the school year ahead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

IMPORTANT DATES<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

September 8th-<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7  On-site fingerprinting will take place at VCS from 3-5pm. All parents\/guardians that wish to volunteer in the classroom or for field trips MUST be fingerprinted. Cost is $57 and they are accepting cash, check or card.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7  Picture Day for all students. Make-ups will be September 15th.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

September 15th-<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A call to all VCS families! Whether you are a brand-new family, joined during covid, or a seasoned family, please join us for an informal park meet up. Friday-September 16th, 5-7pm<\/strong> Galvin Park-Santa Rosa No need to RSVP. Bring the whole family, something to drink and your own cup. Pizza will be provided for all! We are looking forward to building community with you! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

October 21st-<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our first school festival is upon us! The hoe down is back and scheduled for Friday, October 21st<\/strong>. More details to come. If you would like to be part of planning and executing this fun festival, please come to October\u2019s PA meeting on October 5th at 8:45am<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mornings are very busy times for our teachers. Unless you have scheduled a meeting, please try to leave this time free for them to prep for the day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Local Non-Profit, A Theater For Children, Stages Musical Moana JR!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Treat your family to a lively child-centered performance of Moana JR, a musical based on the 2016 Disney animated movie Moana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This vibrant show features beautiful costuming, energetic performances by talented young actors, the uplifting and evocative music of Disney’s classic Moana animated movie, and an exciting collaboration with young dancers from \u201cAuntie\u201d Vao Paoleti\u2019s Taimalietane Polynesian Dance Studio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
