➤ Northwest Prep 2025 Spring Academic Exhibition Invitation

Northwest Prep Charter School invites you to our Spring Academic Exhibition on Thursday, May 8th @ 6 pm at Northwest Prep Charter School. The Driving Question for this Spring’s Academic Exhibition is, How can we create a parade entry that represents our community, tells a story, and inspires others?

The goal of this project is for students to explore the background of the Luther Burbank Rose Parade, the City of Santa Rosa, and the history of Northwest Prep, allowing them to determine what our school and community represents, and from there, how our float build and parade performance would best showcase that identity. All while incorporating roses and this year’s parade theme of, “Growing Together.”

Together, NWP students created a unique float entry for the May 17th Luther Burbank Rose Parade in downtown Santa Rosa.  While May 8th is the academic exhibition here on campus, the exhibition performance will be at the parade on May 17th @ 10am.  We invite you to join us at the parade as well.

In addition to this project, our seniors have taken on projects of personal interest to share with all of you. These projects will be on display in our “Senior Grotto.” These project topics include, Early Child Psychology, Music Production, Non-Dairy and Gluten Free Baking, The Human Mind, Trauma, and Media, Responsible Electronics Use, Animal Therapy, and more.

On Thursday, May 8th 2025, you are cordially invited to explore what our students have developed throughout this semester. We will kick the evening off with a greeting and overview on the front lawn near the garden @ 6pm before releasing you to the corridor and classrooms to view elements of student work and the float itself.  We look forward to you joining us.

Sincerely,

Northwest Prep Staff
