How To Enroll

If you are interested in the Village Charter School, we first encourage you to familiarize yourself with our school through our website.

To apply for enrollment, you will need to fill out an enrollment application available from our office or via download below. Once completed, you can submit it by  email, fax, drop off, or mail to our office. Applications for possible openings during the current school year are accepted throughout the year. These names will be placed on a waiting list by grade for possible openings, and you will be contacted if an opening occurs.

We will begin taking applications for the next school year in January.

Open enrollment will be held the last week of January through the first week of February each year.

When we have more applicants than space for the coming year, a lottery is used for incoming students, and a waiting list is formed. Priority is given to siblings of current students.

Tours are given to parents of applicants for the next school year February through April of the current year. Parents and students who are offered placement from the waiting list are also given the opportunity to tour and/or shadow.

Frequently asked questions

“When will I find out if my child’s application is accepted?”

You will be contacted when the teachers have completed their classroom configurations for the upcoming school year. There is no firm date in place.

“Can I schedule a tour?”

Tours are scheduled after the submission of a complete application. If you submit an application after tours have concluded you will be offered to tour if your child is accepted.

“I missed the open enrollment period. Can I still apply?”

Yes. You can apply any time for the current school year or the upcoming school year.

“What if my child’s application is waitlisted?”

That means we received more applications than we have space for, and new students will be selected by lottery. If your child has a sibling who is already enrolled, their application will have priority.
