8th Grade Graduation is a very special event for our grads and their families. ALL are invited. This is typically a standing room only event–please make sure that chair seating is available to grad families.
ALL STUDENTS will be attending and participating in the graduation ceremony. After graduation, students will go back to their classroom and then be released to the carnival.
Please let the office know if you are not going to be here for your child by 3:00 and what time you will pick them up. We will take them to the Carnival but we ask that you pre-purchase their tickets.
Parking–Please drive slowly through the parking lot and park only in legal spots. We will be directing traffic to the blacktop as needed.

LAST DAY OF SCHOOL FUN: CARNIVAL!
A long standing VCS tradition is celebrating the last day of school with a carnival! All current, alumni and new families are welcome to join.
Friday, 6/5 – right after graduation around 3pm. Food, games, cake walk, raffle and more.
We will be selling tickets for food, games, etc the day of. One ticket = $1 or 25 tickets for $20. Each activity/game, raffle entry and food are 1 ticket each. Please note – no one will be turned away for lack of funds. Cash preferred or scan to pay accepted.
Raffle!
We are seeking donations for our raffle. These should be items laying around your house – NOTHING NEWLY PURCHASED. Items should be gently used or new and unwrapped. Popular items from past years have been: stuffed animals/squishmallows, puzzles, games, art and crafts supplies, journals/notebooks, sports gear/equipment, book sets, musical instruments, boxed activities, backpacks/purses, and many more items. Please bring to the office labeled ‘raffle’. PLEASE BRING NO LATER THAN FRIDAY, 6/5 at 9am
CAKE WALK
We need treats for our cake walk – gluten free, nut free, dairy free, sugary, all kinds and a good variety! Homemade or store bought. Please send on disposable plates, platters, etc. If possible please label speciality items and bring to the office afternoon of 6/4 or morning of 6/5
We need volunteers for games and food (3-5pm) set up (11ish) and more. THIS TAKES ALL HANDS ON DECK TO HAPPEN, so please take a look and sign up for something!

Our big Farm to Table fall fundraiser date is set for Sept 19th, to be hosted at a gorgeous venue in Santa Rosa.
