Ft Ross/Salt Point Camping Field Trip
The camping trip is next week, from the morning of October 12th thru the afternoon of Wednesday, October 14th. Thank you to all of you for returning the medical/emergency packet.
Please let me know if your child will need a sleeping bag and/or sleeping pad
The weather looks like it will be clear, with highs in the 70’s and lows near 50 so please pack accordingly
In the HW folder, you will find a list of what is needed and what is not to be brought. You will also find an example itinerary for the trip.

I will hold parent conferences on Thursday, October 15th, Friday October 16th and Wednesday, October 21st. Each conference will be held in my classroom for 30 minutes. Here is the link to sign up

We will celebrate birthdays in class during morning snack time. Your child may bring in a treat to share with the class to celebrate their birthday. All food items need to be cleared by me before you bring them in.We are a nut free classroom

HW is double sided containing a reading log with prompts and a list of spelling words with a sorting activity. HW folders are due back on Thursday with a parent or caregiver signature.

Good afternoon,
We had a great time with our reading buddies from Ashley’s class last week, as we took the city bus to and from the NW Branch Library at Coddingtown. We each took out a realistic fiction book from the library to start our 40 book challenge.
On Friday, the class did an amazing job hosting our first Village Friday. They formed 4 groups, wrote and performed skits about the US Constitution. They were hilarious while staying true to the constitution theme. Very impressive!
