School Garden Workday TODAY! April 7th at 3:15
Please come participate in our first garden workday at VCS!
This is just step one! We will be doing general clean up and prep, weeding, pruning, etc. We also have 20 raspberry and 20 strawberry plants donated by the School Garden Network we need to plant. Please bring tools for the job. Big Ask—someone with a weed eater (the grass is getting high) and a truck for a possible green dump run.
The School Garden Network is requesting photos and video of us planting, so If you don’t want to get your hands dirty, but like taking photos and making videos you can help that way as well.
If you have questions, please contact Amber Napoleon (Osha and Seva’s Mama).
DUE TODAY! T-shirts order forms
It is important that we receive the order forms back ASAP (deadline is TODAY) so we can have the t-shirts printed and ready for our event.

State Testing
We are starting our state testing next week. We are starting this process early so the tests can be spread out over the next month to reduce stress and limit the overall impact on classroom time. All students in grades 3-8 will take these required, standardized tests. We like to provide healthy snacks to the students during their test times. Please email Rebecca at rlivanoff5@gmail.com if you would like to help with snacks.
Summer Camp 2022—June 15-July 29, 8:00-5:00
Coco and Mr. Matt are hoping to offer our VCS Summer Camp this summer of 2022.
Students will be given the opportunity to socialize, learn new skills, and enjoy outdoor adventures and play. Cost: $1100-full summer; $450-2 weeks or 10 day drop off; $300-single week or 5 day drop off.
We need minimum numbers to make the camp happen, so please to let us know if you are interested in having your child(ren) participate.
Reminder: Hats & Sunscreen
Please send your students to school with sunscreen on and hats to wear on hot days.
Appreciations
Thank you, Natalie Lennox for teaching our class some great Irish dance moves on St. Patrick’s Day! Love, Miss Malika
