Winter Solstice Festival

The Winter Solstice Festival is a beautiful community event full of songs, poems, tradition, and joy. This year, the festival will take place in the NWP multi-purpose room. Start time is 6:30 pm. Students need to arrive at their classroom dressed and fed by 6:15pm. Cider and popcorn will be served after the festivities. Please make sure to keep an eye out for more detailed information from your child’s teacher.


PA Update and Requests

 We are seeking some help and supplies for the Winter Solstice Festival. PLEASE visit our sign up
(click here) and see if there is anything you can assist with. 
 We are still searching for a few morning greeters starting in January until the end of the school
year. Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday mornings, 8:25-8:45 am.
Please let us know if this is something you can commit to.

 THANK YOU to everyone who has donated to Denim for Dollars. We are extending this
fundraiser and the bins will be on campus throughout the school year. Please continue to save
and bring your gently used or new items as you clean out your closets and homes.


The PA is forming committees to help with fundraising & organizing for the Annual Creek
Clean- A -Thon. We need help with:
-FUNDRAISING/SPONSORSHIP from local businesses & families 
-Organizing day of (ice cream, set up, cleanup day of)
-Shirt/banner ordering 

If you can help support this event, PLEASE LET US KNOW ASAP!! We can use several people for
each committee.

Appreciations

Thank you to Matt and the MS wood shop students for building 2 Gaga Ball courts (and to Mr. Robbins
for acquiring the pallets). The students love them!

To Ashley and the students in her class—Thank you for hosting the weekly community lunches. Dining
together has so many wonderful benefits, yet it is a fading experience in our culture. I appreciate that
that you followed through with this vision and hope we can keep building on it for years to come!

To Emma—your baked apples were a delicious addition to the community lunch. Thank you for taking the
time to do this for our students.
